Vocabulary words: These are words that will be included in the stories of the week. These are words that students should be able to recognize, as well as learn their meanings. Students DO NOT need to learn the spelling of these words. The words will come home on index cards and can be added to the ring of previous words.

weave: To weave means to make an item by crossing materials over one another or by braiding them together.
sharpening: If you are sharpening something, you are making its edge very pointed or thin.
duplicated: If you have duplicated something, you have made an exact copy of it.
delicious: Food that is delicious has great flavor.
